The Culpa Half Size Universal Ice Pack 6.5 x 11 is perfect for everyday aches and pains. This Universal Culpa enhances all the benefits of cold therapy to conveniently relieve pain in almost every area of the body including the shoulder, neck, back, wrist, thigh, elbow, and knee. Keep one in your freezer, for those everyday aches and pains, sports injuries and muscle pulls. The Culpa Universal Ice Pack remains flexible and comfortable and is much better than a standard ice pack. This Universal Ice Pack delivers up to 30 minutes of healing cold therapy. Reuse them again and again. Never sit, lie, or sleep on the Culpa . Applications:
For Initial Chilling of the Culpa , remove from all packaging, place flat in Chilling Unit Freezer for two hours.
Do not chill below 0° F
To keep moist, place in a plastic bag, seal, and then place in freezer. This will preserve them and prevent them from drying out or getting hard.
Never Let the Culpa Dry After Use - Always Keep Them In Freezer.
Remove the Culpa from the freezer and place a hand towel between the skin and the Culpa . Apply to area being treated.
Treatment time should not exceed 30 minutes
Precautions:
Do not sit, lie, or sleep on the Culpa
Constantly monitor application to avoid skin irritation.
Do not heat or microwave the Culpa to use as a hotpack. Use only as a cold therapy.
Care:
Wipe all moisture from the Culpa before returning to freezer.
Lay the Culpa flat for storage in the freezer.
The Culpa is most serviceable when kept in a freezer set at 12° F (-11°C)
Store in freezer when not in use.

I have a Colpac that I have had for several years - in fact ... it is my second one. I like it very much. I probably will purchase another one as mine as leaking in 3 places where it is sealed. My other one did the same thing.

I bought this size/product well over 20 years ago. It's been in the freezer the entire time when not in use. Am currently using on my lower back, across my shoulders and neck. Still doing the job. This is the sturdiest, yet most pliable, soft cold pack that I've found. Would definitely rec it to anyone needing a cold pack to comfortably shape to any body part. Depending on your freezer temp, it can get really cold, so use a towel between pack and skin. I'm looking to buy one for my parents and this site seems to have the best internet price.

This colpac does not live up to it's name. After applying it to my knee for 20 minutes, my knee is not cold.

This is my second purchase of a ColPaC ice pack and I just love them. I'm a firm believer in that if you keep the swelling down you keep the pain down and these ColPaCs do this for me. Most recently I have had a total knee replacement and really enjoying icing the knee down after physical therapy. These are the same cold packs that my physical therapists use. Love it , love it!
