Description

An upper-body multitasker! This hot/cold pack is designed specifically to flex around the upper back, across the shoulders, and up the neck for a large coverage area. Once in place, the sensitive skin of the neck and upper back area is protected by the "frost free" cover, while allowing the therapeutic heat or cold to penetrate deep. The non-toxic, biodegradable gel holds therapeutic temperatures longer.

This cold/hot gel pack comes in a 9x16 size, excellent for strains, sprains, tension headaches, arthritis, herniated discs, and sciatica. The tri-sectional pack can even be used for a relaxing, spa-like effect: just heat it according to the directions to relax after a long day at work.

Precautions: If you have questions about the use of this hot/cold pack, consult your doctor. Do not use on broken skin. Individuals with circulation problems, the disabled and children should use these products only with supervision of a doctor.

First of all, ANY Soft Comfort ice/heat pack has my vote for the best in the market. And you can never have too many since you might need to alternate between hot & cold in the same night, or may have more than one person in one sitting that needs them. This neck and shoulders one is wonderful. I like to keep this one out and heat it after a long day of work in front of the computer. It takes a little longer to heat than the instructions say. I usually start with 1 minute, then do 30 second increments after that. Don't forget to mush it and move it around each time before starting the microwave again. It usually takes me an additional 4-5 additional 30 second increments after the first 1 minute session.
